Black Friday 2019: Pet deals we are most excited for

Ah, it’s that time of year again. That time of year when your favorite stores start plastering all their amazing Black Friday sales on their webpages, on social media, and in your inbox. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are great times to cash out on some great deals on your most wished for products. Growing up I was never been the biggest Black Friday shopping fan but I was always one to find some of the best deals. This year we will be out of town for Black Friday, but we are sharing our wish lists with family and friends in hopes they may surprise us with something on our list.

Black Friday ads tend to get leaked a few weeks prior to the day itself. This year, I scoured the ads to find some of the best pet(ish) deals from my favorite shops.

Kohl’s

Hands down Kohl’s has some of the best Black Friday sales. Not only do they offer great deals on top holiday items, they offer $15 Kohl’s cash for every $50 spent, free shipping, and an extra $15 off your order. 

• Canon Rebel T6 Kit – page 1 
  • On sale for $399.99, normally $749.99. This is a fabulous starter camera for anyone who wants to dabble into photography more.
• Robot Vacuums – page 15
  • We love our iRobot Roomba 960, but I’ve heard great things about the Shark vacuums too. The Shark ION R75 is on sale for $152.99!!
• Dyson Animal Line of Vacuums – page 15
  • You’ll get the Dyson Animal line of vacuums for the same price at Kohl’s as you will at Best Buy, but Kohl’s will offer you up to $105 back in Kohl’s Cash to spend the first two weeks of December.
• Jammies for your families – page 41
  • 50% off + extra 15% coupon. Matching jammies for Duke and Navy? I think YES.

Best Buy

In store Best Buy will be absolute madness on Black Friday. Luckily, they offer their sales in store and online!

• Gimbal camera stabilizer – page 103
  • 30% off. I really want to invest in one of these this year. In 2020 we will start to film more video content and having something to help our shaky hands will be super helpful.
• Memory cards – page 107
  • ~ 60% off. You can never have too many memory cards!
• Roomba 960 – page 113
  • On sale for $399.99, normally $649.99. If you’ve seen our Instagram stories you’d know we recently purchased a Room 960 and we are obsessed! We truly cannot recommend it enough. 
• Hoover Power Scrub Deep Cleaner – page 114
  • On sale for $99.99, normally $209.99. We have a Hoover spot cleaner to help with small messes but this year we want to invest in something to cover the big areas. If you have carpets, a deep cleaning vacuum is definitely something you need, not only for pet messes, but also general carpet wear and tear.
• Dyson – HP01 Pure Hot + Cool Air Purifier, Heater and Fan – Page 115
  • On sale for $374.99, normally $499.99. Helps remove dust, pet danger, pollen, and household odors by 99.97%, need I say more?

Target

Honestly, I was a little disappointed with this year’s Target ad. Target’s Black Friday offerings this year were heavy on electronics and toys and their prices were not better than Best Buy, Walmart, or Kohl’s.

  • Buy 1, get 1 50% off. I can’t tell you how amazing these are to take pictures cell phone pictures of Duke and Navy. Buy one for yourself and gift one!
• GoPro Hero8 – page 13
  • On sale for $349.99, normally 399.99 and it includes $100 worth of accessories. Ugh, I shudder to think this was the amount I paid for my GoPro Hero 4…4 years ago. Needless to say, I am in need of a new GoPro. I’ve been meaning to purchase a strap to hook the GoPro up to Duke or Navy.

Michaels

We love Michaels for all things home, holiday, and crafts. They have some awesome in-store coupon offers. Check out page 2 of their ad.

  • 5 for $9.99. I stocked up on these last year and I am still burning these this season!
• Frames 
  • Pretty much all frames starting at 50% off. We are pretty big fans of Michael’s frames. For custom framing they tend to match and beat their competitors prices too.

Petco

Petco is offering their Black Friday sales on Friday and Saturday this year. They didn’t really go into details of listing the sale prices in their ad, but if you use your Pals reward, they are offering some great discounts.

  • 50% off apparel, beds, collars, leashes, throws, toys and treats.
• Buy one get one free treats – page 1
  • Buy 1, get 1 free dog chews and treats (see ad for which brands are included). We like to stop up on these to give away as gifts and to donate to shelters.
• Buy one get one 50% off – page 1
  • Buy 1, get 1 free dry dog food (see ad for which brands are included). We are pretty picky with what we feed Duke and Navy, but Petco normally will have bins to donate extra items you purchase to local shelters and rescues.
• Bond & Co Apparel and Accessories – page 1
  • 50% off apparel and accessories. Navy and Duke are in need of new collar and leash sets. Bond & Co. tend to have ones that match our style.

Miscellaneous

We found some really great pet deals that weren’t offered at the big box stores. We plan to create a little holiday shopping guide later, so you’ll see a few of these items on there as well.

• Furbo Dog Camera
  • Save up to 46%. Visit their website for more information! We already have a Furbo that we love, so I guess this doesn’t really count but we’ve never seen a discount this steep before. If you’ve been wanting one, check it out!

• Ruggable Washable Rugs

  • Basically everything is on sale at Chewy during Black Friday. A lot of treats and toys are marked down and have a buy 3 get 1 free deal–perfect for gifts! We will be stocking up on poop bags from Chewy.
